Rated 5 out of 5 by TTEChris from Great Sound, No drone, Easy to install I've had this for about a week now and I am very pleased with the sound. I was a little concerned that the sound would be too loud, but to me it is just perfect. On the highway at 60mph I hear more wind noise from my softop then I do exhaust tone. Accelerating you do hear the aggressive tone of the exhaust, but having a 6spd it's nice to be able to know when to shift without looking at the tach(The factory exhaust was too quiet.) Best feature is it removes the rear muffler where I will eventually be adding a air compressor setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Markie D from Very Nice Exhaust! I bought this Rock Basher. Exhaust 3 weeks ago, not a hard install, once stock gigantic exhaust is off this is super easy to install. THe sound at first start up is a nice gurgle, about 15 seconds later quiets down almost like factory. The 8 speed auto is always is a higher gear so cruising at any speed city or hwy very quiet. The beauty of it is, when taking off at normal throttle you can here it up to 3rd gear, once at speed it goes back quiet. The best of both worlds it can be loud with a somewhat agreesive take off you have complete control of the loudness and again quiet at cruising. I am extremely. Satisfied with it. Also no more ugly muffler in the back to see or hit off roading. I have yet to hear any droning at all. Very nice mild to aggressive system depends on your driving style.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ambrose from Delivers on Sound I installed over the weekend. I think I can safely say that it couldn't be easier to install. I'm no mechanic. I just followed the video on CJ Pony Parts--they make it look easier than it is! But it's pretty darn easy. The hardest part was getting the stock off. Even after just a few months, it had its fair share of rust, and I couldn't get the back hangers off without cutting into them (accidentally) with my pry bar. Even so, it was probably just like 1-1.5 hours. I managed to do it fine w/o a jack or lift with a creeper and my son helping out. Also, for the front stock band, I got a regular straight ratchet around the top of it just fine. The new exhaust is actually a good bit louder than I expected, especially at around 1500rpm. It does sound a lot better than stock; just a bit loud. I'll see how it feels as time goes on. This is why I give it 4 stars. I mean, yeah, you want the better sound, but this may be too much of a good thing. I definitely prefer the more or less invisible look. The big stock muffler on the back just kinda looks silly to me, and of course, it's nice to have this new one more up and out of the way for clearance. The build quality is very solid, and the branded plate welded on it looks pretty good, too. I can't say I definitely can feel a performance increase, but it does give the sense of going faster--probably just due to the sound. When you step on it, it's like driving the race car you imagine as a kid (sound wise), going thru each gear. Vroom vroom.
