This system comes with a 5-1/2" pre-oiled washable, reusable Pro 5R oval conical air filter that has an inverted top for maximum performance. The filter is a 5-layer progressive cotton gauze filter designed to help increase horsepower and torque. This intake also has a 3-angle filter adapter for increased air velocity after the air filter for an improvement in both performance and throttle response. Plus, this intake also comes with a constant 3-1/2" aluminum mandrel-bent wrinkle-black powder-coated intake tube that offers better insulation from the heat and improved volumetric efficiency for better performance overall. Installation is easy and won't require you to cut or drill into any of your OEM parts, and the heat shield will easily snap onto the top of the lower half of your factory air box using the factory mounting locations.
