American Racing Headers Stainless Steel 1-7/8" Long Tube Headers with a 3" Catted X-Pipe for 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 Mustangs with a 4.6L 2V Engine.
American Racing Headers long tube headers and matching x-pipe will help you extract the maximum horsepower available from your 4.6L 2V engine. 1-7/8" primaries accommodate max effort applications. A full 3" x-pipe includes high flow catalytic converters for minimal exhaust restriction while keeping your car street legal. ARH long tube systems are engineered for a great fit and outstanding horsepower and torque gains throughout the RPM range.

ARH long tube headers offer a no hassle installation. There is no need to dent primary tubes to clear the steering shaft or starter. The headers clear everything perfectly with room to spare. ARH machines 3/8" thick flanges that resist warping. Flanges are TIG welded to the primary tubes then ported to create the smoothest flowing exhaust possible. The 100% leak free one-piece long tube design keeps exhaust parts to a minimum and creates a straight forward installation. ARH long tube headers extend towards the outside of the car so removal of the transmission does not require removing of the headers.
A 3" x-pipe connects to the long tube headers with a slip fit design and it bolts directly to your factory cat-back. Ultra high-flow 200 cell metallic substrate catalytic converters provide the ultimate exhaust flow while still passing emissions laws. The 3" x-pipe will bump up the decibels of your Mustang when mashing the gas.
Installing long tube headers requires either removal of the k-member or removal of the engine. No one wants to remove headers a second time to deal with loose bolts or an exhaust leak. The high quality ARH headers and x-pipe provide perfect fitment and sealing so your install is done right the first time.
