This B&M Black Magnum Shift Handle Kit is designed to perfectly fit your Jeep and comes with a Magnum Handle for the automatic shifter and the transfer case. They're made of C&C Machined Billet Aluminum with a nice black anodized finish for a nice custom look and feel. Today, we're going to install them on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler.
Tools you'll need for this installation: a 5/64 Allen Key, 3/32 Allen Key, a small screwdriver or a panel removal tool and you might need a small pry bar.
To remove the factory shift knob, grab yourself a small flat head screwdriver or a trim removal tool and you're gonna pop off this chrome piece right here. You're gonna pop it down. Then the shift knob should pull right off. Just like that. Then pull the shifter off. Do the same thing on the transfer case shift knob.
To install the transmission shifter, we need to remove these cover plates by removing the two screws on each side. Then, you're going to loosen the four set screws that were beneath the cover plates. Position it where you want it to be, then tighten all four set screws. Then tighten the bottom set screw. Then reinstall the cover plates.
On the transfer case shift knob, you have to loosen this screw and this screw so it can slide on to the shifter, then you can install it. Adjust it to your liking then tighten the screws. And your installation's finished. Our B&M Magnum Grip Shifter Handles are installed. They look and feel way better than the factory shifters. Your hand just fits in them so nice. Installation's not too bad. It should only take about 15 or 20 minutes and before you know it, you'll be heading off road.
