Rated 5 out of 5 by PhilDickerson from You really need a good battery hold-down After the bungee cord holding my battery down broke AND my battery slid over into the alternator pulley AND the fan blew battery acid all over the engine compartment, I bought this. Looks great and that battery ain't going nowhere!

Rated 5 out of 5 by nfw_39 from great quality the product matched perfectly and is very sturdy construction, unlike the cheap Chinese stuff you might find elsewhere.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lunchbox_36051 from Probably works with a regular battery The bolts are to long if you have an optimal battery. I had to go buy bolts with longer threads. Also the handle that holds down the batter isn’t that great for an optima it’s a little too big kinda have to off set it or bend it to fit

Rated 5 out of 5 by nohoboy from Works fine! I knew what I was buying. I don't know how many tears ago i acquired the first one or where I bought it. It had gotten a little scruffy looking so I bought a new one. It is a very good product and it looks good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DanW from Solid mount I have a 66, and the hold downs for those are terrible. I changed the tray to 67 and used this mount, now the battery stays put. I did change these nuts for wing nuts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sturgis from Battery Hold Down This is a simple unobtrusive part that does the job it is supposed to do, it holds your battery in place and does it very well. Makes me happy, hahahahaha

Rated 5 out of 5 by Phil from Workable Hold Down Kit I used this hold down for an Optima battery without having to change out the original battery tray of my 1969 Mach 1.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Boss302 from Hooks are to long and thread should go lower I could tie down the battery because the threads are not long enough to go tighter. Also Rods are too long
