If you've been following our YouTube Channel, you've seen we've done a ton of LED upgrades to our 2016 Jeep Wrangler but it still has the factory exhaust, which is just not okay. Today we're going to help it breathe better and sound better by installing this Borla ATAK axle-back exhaust. This axle-back exhaust is made of three or four stainless steel tubing and features a straight through baffled design that will help your Jeep breathe better and give it an aggressive sound. It comes with dual black tips to give your Jeep a nice touch, and today we're going to install it on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler.

This axle-back exhaust is going to be super easy to install because there's only one 15 millimeter nut holding it on. Then you just have to remove the muffler from the two rubber hangers. Remove the 15 millimeter nut on the exhaust clamp ... Now we're going to remove this bracket from the rubber hanger on the Jeep ... All right, now we can move to the other hanger. Once both hangers are disconnected, grab onto the muffler and twist it to break it lose from the pipe, then you can pull it off.

Install the provided clamp over the muffler inlet pipe ... Then the hanger that came off with the factory exhaust, put that on your new muffler and then put this into place. Insert the muffler pipe into the intermediate pipe ... Then you can install the hangers ... Install the other hanger. WD-40 will help out when installing these or any other kind of lubricant. Now you can tighten the clamp on the muffler. Tighten the clamp. Get it as close to the edge as you can for a better seal. Now we can move on to installing the tips.

Now we can install the exhaust tips. Grab the provided clamp, put it over the tip then put the tip over the tailpipe ... Then tighten the clamp with a 15-millimeter socket ... Repeat the process on the other side and your installations finished.

Now we can see how it sounds ... Our Borla ATAK axle-back exhaust is installed. It gives our Jeep a nice throaty sound. Installation will take you about 30 to 45 minutes, and before you know it you'll be heading off-road.
