Novice skill is required for this installation.
This Borla Touring axle-back exhaust it made of mandrel bent stainless steel tubing, with a high flair muffler, and dual tail pipes with polished tips to give your Jeep better sound, and performance without being too loud. It's going to be super easy to install. Today we're going to install it using our 2016 Jeep Wrangler.
This axle-back exhaust is going to be super easy to install. There's only on 15 mm nut holding it on. Then you just have to remove the muffler from the two rubber hangers. Remove the 15 mm nut on the exhaust clamp. Now we're going to remove this bracket from the rubber hanger on the Jeep. All right, now we can move to the other hanger. Once both hangers have disconnected, grab onto the muffler, and twist it to break loose from the pipe. Then you can pull it off.
With the factory exhaust out of the way, we're going to put the bigger clamp over the over-axle pipe. We're going to take the hanger from the passenger side, and install it on the muffler. Then put the driver side into the rubber hanger, then into the over-axle pipe. Get the passenger side hanger in place. Then tighten down the clamp. Slide the clamp over the inlet pipe, and tighten it with a 15 mm socket. Install a clamp over each tip, and then install each tip on the tail pipes. Position them where you like it, then tighten the clamp. Repeat the process on the other side, and your installation's finished.
All right, let's hear it. Our Borla Touring axle-back exhaust is installed. It looks really good. I love the dual tips. It sounds pretty good too, but it's not too loud. Installation will take you about 45 minutes. And before you know it, you'll be heading off-road.
