This Borla Touring exhaust is made of mandrel-bent stainless steel tubing, a straight-through baffled muffler with dual stainless tips. It's going to help our jeep look, sound and breathe better, so today we're going to install it on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler.
This axle-back exhaust is going to be super easy to install because there's only one 15 millimeter nut holding it on. Then you just have to remove the muffler from the two rubber hangers. Remove the 15 millimeter nut on the exhaust clamp ... Now we're going to remove this bracket from the rubber hanger on the Jeep ... All right, now we can move to the other hanger. Once both hangers are disconnected, grab onto the muffler and twist it to break it lose from the pipe, then you can pull it off.
With the stock exhaust off and out of the way, we're going to take the provided clamp and slide it over the over axle pipe. We're going to install the hanger that we previously removed onto the passenger side. Then we're going to slide the exhaust into the driver side hanger then the pipe going into the muffler over the over axle pipe ... Insert this hanger onto the factory mount on the body. Then tighten the clamp on the over axle pipe. Slide the clamp over the inlet pipe and then tighten it with a 15 millimeter socket ... Slide the provided clamps over the tips then put the tips over the tailpipe. Adjust them to your liking then tighten the clamps. Repeat the process on the other side and your installations finished.
All right, let's hear it ... Our Borla touring axle-back exhaust is installed. It's only a little bit louder than factory. You're not going to have any [inaudible 00:02:58] on the highway. Installation was super easy, it's only going to take about 45 minutes, and before you know it you'll be heading off-road.
