One of the best things about owning a truck is being able to use the bed, so today we're going to show you how to get even more out of your bed by installing this BuiltRight Industries bedside rack. This is BuiltRight Industries' four panel bedside rack kit for your 2015 to '18 F-150 and Raptor. It features four CNC laser cut 11 gage steel panel that are designed to perfectly fit your F-150 and attach to your bed for additional storage. They feature a nice texture black powder-coat finish, and they'll even make your truck more practical, organized, and safe. For more information and pricing, click the link in the description down below. Now let's get to the install.
Installing these racks is pretty simple. There's just a couple of factory screws that we have to remove. There's four T30 Torx bolts on the factory tie-down that have to be removed. We have our passenger side bed rack. We're going to install the OEM tie-down bracket over top of the mounting location. Then we'll install this onto the truck. Then you're going to secure this portion of the bed rack with your factory tie-down bracket here. Now to protect the paint of our bed from this bracket, we don't want it rubbing up against it. So we're going to install the provided bump-stop right here in this hole. We're going to bring it down right here, and install the pushpin into it. Now this will keep our paint nice and protected. Now we can move onto the front bracket.
Okay, this front bracket is the same concept as the last one we just did. There's only four screws on this one, so it's a little easier. Just remove this tie-down, and then reinstall it. Place the tie-down into the bracket, then back onto the truck. Now repeat the same process for the other side of the bed, and you're done. All right, we got our BuiltRight Industries bedside racks installed on our 2016 F-150. As you can see, they're gonna give you a lot more options with mounting and securing things in your bed like coolers, tools, things of that nature. You can use ratchet straps to secure things to it. Really the options are limitless, and all you need is a T30 Torx bit and about 30 minutes, and before you know it, you'll be heading off-road.
