CJ Classics' Electric Fan and Aluminum Shroud Kit C3DZ-8146/8600A will fit perfectly in your 1965-1966 Mustang's engine bay, so the fan can draw all of the air from the radiator for an upgrade in the cooling capabilities underneath your hood. Also, just removing your stock fan reduces the overall rotational mass, which will result in an improvement in your Mustang's horsepower and fuel efficiency.
Tech Tip: Although this CJ Classics Electric Fan and Aluminum Shroud Kit are designed to work with Scott Drake's 259 Series Aluminum 2-Row Radiators, mounting holes may need to be drilled in the shroud to properly install the necessary brackets.
California Residents: Proposition 65 Warning
As Scott Drake developed this Fan and Shroud Kit specifically to work with their 2-Row Radiator also available here at CJ Pony Parts. The basis of the set up is going to be this aluminum shroud with this spal 16 inch, 10 blade fan in the middle. The fan is going to flow 1650 CFM. It includes all necessary power wires, relays, as well as an adjusting thermostatic control for installation. The thermostat is going to install into your 2-Row '65 through '66 Scott Drake Radiator, and the control here will allow you to dial in the temperature at which the fan turns on.
While if modifications this fan may be used on other applications, it is designed specifically to work only with the Scott Drake 2-Row Radiator.
