Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good kit, fits well I got this kit because the parts on my 1970 Mach 1 were all original and I had a feeling that a lot of cutting was going to happen. I was right, used every bit of this kit since the old stuff was seized up. What a difference in the ride and feel. I used poly from another kit on the shackles instead of the rubber that it came with. The U-bolts were a little snug around the differential and needed a little "help" to line up, but overall this is a great kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good product had this on my car for a few months now and have had no issues at all. kit fit with no issues. I put this on my 69 convertible which had the original shocks and it made a huge improvement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leaf Springs I bought these leaf springs a couple weeks ago for my 1972 Mach 1 (kit also included shackles, U bolts etc). My old old springs were wore out. The back end rose up a couple inches, to the original height. And the ride is much smoother. The mechanic said the parts fit perfectly. Thanks CJ.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good complete kit Installed this kit last week. All the parts fit well except the u-bolts. The u-bolts were too small and would not fit around the axle, and then did not line up well with the shock plates. Otherwise, every other component of this kit was good quality, easy to install, and fit well.

Will these fit a 68 coupe that originally came with a 6 cylinder.  I also have the rear end out of a 65 mustang v-8  bolted into the car right now.  Will there be any problems with the ubolts and plates that attach these to the rear end?

Asked by: wisiv01
Yes the leave springs will fit. If you have the spring plates from the 1965 then the u-bolts will not fit.
