CJ Classics Power steering control valve for all 1967 Mustangs.

Are you experiencing unpredictable steering and control problems in your 1967 Mustang, then most likely a new power steering control valve will alleviate your problems. This CJ Classics Power Steering Control Valve is not a rebuild, but is manufactured from all brand new components, giving you a great direct replacement to install and get you back in full control of the steering in your Mustang. This new valve will make sure the correct amount of fluid is transferred for an even road feel and easy turning, that requires minimal force to turn the steering wheel, even when stopped or at very low speeds.

Changing this valve will reestablish your steering back to the way it is supposed to react and respond and will make your power steering feel even tighter than the original did. This Power Steering Control Valve features a 5/16” pressure port for the power steering hose that will work in any 1967 Mustang, regardless of the size of the engine you have. This is a direct replacement that will get your steering tightened up and feeling like it did when you sat in her for the very first time.

If I were to buy the Control Valve and replaced the end that hooks to the pitman arm that is for my 1963 galaxie would the warranty be voided? The Control Valve looks the same with the only difference is where it connects to steering link.

Hi, I'm chasing JUST the clamp that sits on the end of the control valve (it's got the dimple that locates it on the end of the valve body). Can you help?

Asked by: Creweman
Unfortunately we do not offer just the clamp.

Will this fit an early 67 with the long steering shaft? I was under the impression that all of the steering parts for the early 67's are different than the later 67's.

Asked by: sturner1
Yes it will, the difference between the long and short shaft is the steering column, the early 67 steering shaft is part of the steering box and the short shaft column has a rag joint connecting the steering box to the column.

Hi - I bought one of these from you and have just fitted fitted it - power steer works when turned to the right but dosent work when turned to the left - any suggestions please ?

Asked by: Bazzza
If the two small fluid lines are attached to the correct port than it may be a faulty valve.
