This mechanical flat tappet camshaft (31-640-5) will fit Ford 289 and 302 engines from 1963-1995. The Drag Race 290B-6 camshaft is best suited for medium to heavy cars with a 4000-stall torque converter, at a 10.5:1 compression ratio. The RPM range is 3000 to 7000 and the valve timing is 0.02.
