90-Degree Cooler Line Fitting for C4 Transmissions.

If your 1965-1981 Mustang came with a factory C4 transmission or you've done a transmission swap on your Mustang to a C4 transmission, then this 90-Degree Cooler Line Fitting is just what you need to attach the transmission cooling line to the transmission. It'll connect at a 90-degree angle and only works with C4 transmissions. This cooler line fitting is a must-have part. Otherwise, you won't be able to connect the cooling line to the transmission.

This 90-Degree Cooler Line Fitting will work on every C4 transmission, and it's compatible with other model years as long as the vehicle has a C4 transmission. It also works well on 1973-1977 Ford Broncos with a factory C4 transmission. While 1965-1981 are the only years this type of transmission was available from the factory for Mustangs, it's still a popular one to swap, especially for drag racing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what you need for c4 C4 case to transmission Cooling lines. Doesn't describe what threads they are so I gambled when I got them. I even called and they couldn't tell me either but they were exactly what I needed. One side is pipe thread for the case and the other side is the 5/16 line thread. Don't even bother going into your local auto store because they won't have them. Perfect for what I needed though. You will also need a straight fitting with the 90° for the case which I found on ebay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique feature I am glad I bought this one instead of trying to reuse the original one I had. the unique feature of this fitting is that it has a "O" ring at both connection points. I had never see and "O" ring at the flared connection to the cooling line which is exactly where the old one was leaking. No new leaks so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed while replacing my c4 transmission the cooling line fitting snapped off of my transmission. I checked out a few transmission shops in my area and no one had this fitting. I did a search and CJ Pony Parts had just what I needed. I ordered the fitting and it arrived here in a few days. Perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The One and Only Just save your time and buy the right product. Yes this product is somewhat pricey for a single hose fitting, but you will be hard pressed to find this at any local auto parts stores. Perfect threads with zero leaks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Had to add an adapter but worked great Bought this for my C4 transmission. Couldn't use straight connector. Still had to go to local hardware store to get a 1/4" adapter but worked great

Once tightened into the transmission housing does it swivel? I have a 90 deg fitting now but it is fixed and facing toward the front of the trany, away from the replacement line from Classic Tube. Thanks

Asked by: Bryan
Once the position of the fitting is set use the jam nut to lock it into position.
