The OEM rear motor mount on the Fiesta ST is known as a weak link from the factory. Virtually eliminate both engine sway and wheel hop with an xFlex Rear Motor Mount (FDXM00004B) from cp-e for your 2014-2019 Fiesta ST.

cp-e went above the call of duty when it came to designing the xFlex rear motor mount. The factory motor mount location is placed near a strong source of heat. The problem with this is that the factory urethane bushings begin to break down at temperatures as low as 200F. Because of this, the full functionality of your stock motor mount is limited, especially during spirited driving. cp-e manufactured their motor mount with EDPM bushing which is much more durable than urethane and will stay structurally sound up to much higher temperatures. This particular bushing also has a much lower durometer rating, meaning that less noise, vibration and harshness will make it into the cabin in comparison to the stock rear motor mount.

This rear motor mount by cp-e is CNC machined out of 6061-T6 aluminum and designed to bolt in to the stock location of your current mount without any modification. This new design allows for much less wheel hop and engine sway allowing your Fiesta ST to hook up easier and shift more precisely during those weekend track days.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but... Recently installed so, only have a few miles on the install, but the NVH is very noticeable from idle to about 2,500 RPM. Given that I have only driven a few hundred miles it does feel like it is breaking in a little, expecting more. First impressions overall are positive though, this is my daily driver - but I wanted something a little racier and this helps. Engine movement has been reduced significantly (pogoing between shifts is gone), those commenting about not needing a short shifter after the install in my opinion are correct. Plan on updating in a few weeks regarding break in

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CPE Xflex Handling:- without going on a track with stop watch, with slight changes like and engine mount its impossible to know if handling has improved. However the front end is noticeably tighter. The car feels better on the road. Vibration:- The vibration is low to mild and is very low frequency (more like a low rumble), does not seem to cause items in the pockets or glove box to vibrate. Above 1000 RPM no vibration at all. No mirror or steering vibration. I have noticed I am changing my driving style only slightly to suit. Noise:- There is only just a detectable amount of cabin engine noise over OEM and a very nice low rumble when the engine starts. You can still have a quiet conversation without a problem. In conclusion:- The CPE XFlex RMM makes the car the way it should be. The vibration and noise is very acceptable and for a 60 year old that is important. Like other RMM the feel of the cars is very different, better. The beauty of this mount (unlike Mountune and Cobb) is you don't use the original OEM side bracket, thus you can put the OEM mount back just the same as it was without having to damage or drill the OEM bracket.
