DEI Exhaust Header Wrap Black Titanium 2"

This DEI 2” Black Titanium Exhaust Header Wrap will reduce under hood temperatures by up to 50%. Wrapped exhaust systems also confer additional engine protection and passenger comfort.

DEI Black Titanium Exhaust Header Wrap can be used on any exhaust systems, whether they are made from cast iron, stainless steel or anything in between. You can also use it on any other kind of metal or aluminum tubing. Cover your intercooler piping, turbo down pipe, air intake and even the intake manifold.

The wrap works best with an overlap of 1/4". This should allow just enough heat out to ensure performance without damaging the exhaust. When following the 1/4" overlap rule, two 50 foot rolls can usually cover a set of V8 headers.

Pulverized lava rock is stranded into the fiber material and is woven into a weave to make up the black titanium exhaust wrap. The DEI Black Titanium Exhaust Header Wrap is stronger and more durable than most exhaust wraps in the market. This header wrap from DEI can withstand a direct temperature of 1800F and can intermittent temperatures of 2500F.

By limiting the radiant heat trapped inside the engine bay, air intake temperatures will be decreased for a cooler air charge. Also, less heat will be absorbed through the firewall so cabin temperatures will be kept to a minimum.

Please Note: The DEI Black Titanium exhaust wrap is not designed to be removed after it has been through its heat cycle. The fibers will lose their initial flexibility after they have been heated.
