Rebuild your Mustang with modern suspension that eliminates the shock towers for a refreshed engine bay. This pair of Custom Full Front Apron Assemblies from Dynacorn eliminate the use of the factory shock towers for a high-quality flat steel substitute.

The flat replacement steel is designed to mimic the original steel with the correct stamping found on the fender aprons. The main reason why people remove the shock towers is to add wider front wheels and modern suspension which allows for the best performance out of your 1965-1966 Mustang. This pair of full front apron assemblies are manufactured to have all the correct cutouts so you can route the wiring harness and the brake lines in the factory location.

When you install this pair of full front apron assemblies you will gain an extra 7" of engine bay clearance on each side. With the added room in your engine bay you have endless possibilities of engine swaps and power adders. This pair of front aprons allow you to shave the engine bay for a custom look or you can install all the original engine components.

Please Note: This Pair of Front Apron Assemblies (3630QX) eliminate the use of the factory suspension and will only work on Mustangs with Mustang II Style Suspension.

We’re here with a pair of Custom Frame Rail Apron Assemblies fitting your 1965 through 1966 Mustang from Dynacorn. These custom frame rail apron assemblies from Dynacorn are designed for your 1965 through 1966 Mustang when using an aftermarket Mustang II style suspension and a much wider engine. By removing this shock tower area, including these delete plates, gives you an additional seven inches of clearance in your engine bay allowing you to put in a late model modular motor or a big block engine in place. These assemblies are going to include completely new front frame rails that will go from radiator support back to your floors. It has all the necessary pre-drilled holes along with the inserts and it also includes the apron assemblies which connect up to your fenders and have the fender mounting hardware and finally this delete plate that goes in place of where your factory shock towers would go again giving you a lot more clearance in your engine bay. Again, these custom frame and apron assemblies are only designed for use with an aftermarket front suspension. They will not work with a factory style suspension due to the removal of the shock towers. These come in a weld-thru primer and are sold as a pair so they're ready to install.
