Rated 3 out of 5 by from Had to grind out lower plate to get socket on nut The welded plate on the bottom has a square opening to allow access to the nuts that attach to the strut. It is imposible to get a socket onto the nuts to be able to torque them properly. The other side of the bolt is pressed into the strut, so not turnable. Had to grind out the side of this square opening to allow a socket to fit. You can see in the picture attached where I have the new and old side by side, and I have one bolt/nut installed on the new version. No way you will get a socket on that! Additionally, grinding this skinny side out, combined with the fact that it is only spot welded in a few spots makes me think this could weaken the overall structure. Other than that, it seems to be a good product. Everything else bolted right up. Just wish they had thought out the design of this lower plate a little more.
