Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Had to disassemble to assemble This UCA came untorqued, loose and sloppy. Definitely not ready to put in. The mounting bolts had to be pounded out, a spacer of 8 and 1/8" fabricated to fit between the arms and then torqued. Then the mounting bolts were pressed back in and the shaft centered. The evening was spent setting up the UCA arm for installation instead of installing. Also the grease fittings are metric. I decided to replace with 90 degree fittings and searched all over until I found some. Really for the price I think 90 degree grease fittings and a properly set up UCA should come ready to install.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Would not fit in the shock tower of my 68 This is much wider than the stock UCA in my 68 and would not fit in the shock tower with the grease fittings that were sent with it. I did buy the Scott Drake 90 degree fittings but as the other commenter stated the UCA thread for the fitting is metric so the 90s would not fit. Ended up buying the Scott Drake UCA, could not return the one I bought because it was scratched during the original install.

Asked by: Pete73
This part is an Upper Control Arm and does not have anything to do with the Springs or Leaf Springs. This part will not determine ride quality.

Looking for upper control arm assemblies for 1970 Mustang would having VIN help to further ensure correct assembly for vehicle?

Asked by: gibunz1957
The VIN is probably unnecessary. Most upper control arms fit on a range of vehicles, at least all 1969-1970 models, oftentimes even wider range. As long as our description says it fits all 1970s, you're good.
