Flaming River Electric Power Steering Kit Microsteer

Early model, vintage vehicles typically come equipped with hydraulic steering systems or manual steering systems that make steering all the more difficult. These original steering systems can be converted with a Flaming River Microsteer Electric Power Steering Kit without changing the steering rack. Power steering enables a smooth, lightweight operation, unlike heavy manual steering.

Once installed, Flaming River's steering system communicates with the wheel speed signal and tuning box. You will be able to adjust the steering sensitivity using a rotary potentiometer. Select between the manual or wheel speed mode for a preferred method.

Tech Tip: If your vehicle is not equipped with a wheel speed sensor, a Hall effect type sensor is highly recommended. A wheel speed sensor is NOT included in the kit and will need to be purchased separately. The input and output shafts of the Microsteer unit are 11/16”-36.
