The O2 sensor is responsible for measuring the amount of oxygen in your pony's exhaust. It then delivers that information to your pony's computer. Your Mustang will automatically adjust air-to-fuel ratios to keep your 5.0L engine running efficiently and performing smoothly, so having a faulty oxygen sensor is a major problem.
