Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weight loss goals! My current mods include getting rid of the ridiculously heavy two-piece factory shaft and carrier bearing on my '07 5-speed GT. I wanted to stick with Ford Performance parts wherever possible, and this fit the bill. CJ had the best price, especially after using a promo code, and the order was processed lightning fast.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lot less vibration I think launches are smoother but,the stock shaft bolted to the body of the car the new one doesn't and with my hand resting on the manual shifter I can feel what seems like tailhousing mobility.

Purchased the ford performance driveshaft, when I installed it the front rubber part of the shaft is hitting the shift linkage. My car is lowered 1.5 and was wondering if I can so anything to solve the problem.

Asked by: PerryB
