- Perfect Complement to High Performance Driving
- Braided Stainless Steel Hose and Hard Line
- Replaces Weak Factory Plastic Line
- Includes #10 O-Rings

The Factory hydraulic clutch line is made out of plastic and has some very undesirable issues. It has the tendency to cause the clutch pedal to stick during hard driving and also feel somewhat sloppy at times. This Ford Performance Stainless Steel Clutch Fluid Line will reduce or eliminate all the issues of clutch pedal sticking and poor consistency of engagement. Increasing fluid flow capacity and reducing line expansion will drastically change clutch action for the better and the overall feel will be improved with the installation of this clutch fluid line.

Please Note: This clutch fluid line is strongly recommended for Mustangs with headers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Clutch line I bought a different one from sve and it was too long and didn’t disengage the clutch properly because of the actual length! Ford made this one so I picked it up and ya huge difference clutch feels solid and made letting the clutch out way easier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge clutch-feel improvement The OEM plastic clutch line really reduces clutch feel. It also seemed to change the engagement zone as the car warmed up. Sometimes the engagement was on the lower side of the pedal-travel and sometimes it seemed higher up. You are always left guessing where the friction zone is and it made shifting gears smoothly a huge chore. This clutch-line fixes that problem completely. The friction zone is in the exact same place every time and you feel exactly where it is each time. Shifting gears perfectly is practically second nature now and I really enjoy rowing through all the gears. Some people try either removing or replacing the clutch return spring to get more clutch-feel, but that has been known to cause damage to the slave cylinder over time, as the slack in the pedal can allow the pedal to rest in a way to always keep pressure on the line and eventually cause a leak. Upgrading the clutch line is a much better alternative and now you have something that will last the lifetime of the car. This clutch line is a lot more expensive than the other brands, but it is built to OEM-level quality and the flanges & O-Rings are the correct size so everything should seal up correctly. The hard-line section plugs into the fluid reservoir and the braided-line goes into the transmission and it fits perfectly-snug along the engine and firewall. The bends in the hard-line are as such to keep any load off the reservoir as it snakes down to the transmission, which will pay off in the long-run compared to an entirely braided line that has to strain at the flange as it bends down. I don't regret paying extra to get the FRPP clutch line. I get perfect feel for the clutch engagement and it fits like a factory piece. P.S. as you drive the car, try cracking the reservoir a few times over the course of a week or so to burp out any residual air you may have not gotten out of the line after you initially bled it.

There is a big discrepancy in price between the Ford Racing clutch line and the Steeda.  Is there any reason why, I trust Steeda products but withe the price being so off, I was wondering if there is a difference with these products.  Please advise. Thanx

Asked by: joe Z
The Steeda line will fit all 15-16 mustangs and is all braided stainless line, the Ford line is 15-16 GT only and is part braided stainless and part hard line.
