Product Description

EFI 16 Gallon Fuel Tank Kit with a Sending Unit and 190 LPH Fuel Pump for all 1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968 Mustangs.

Update your classic 1965-1968 Mustang's fuel system with this all new EFI 16 Gallon Fuel Tank Kit with a Sending Unit and 190 LPH Fuel Pump from CJ Pony Parts! This fuel tank kit is electronic fuel injection ready, and comes with everything you need to really get the fuel flowing. With higher demands of power from your Mustang, switching to a fuel injected application is the best way to get a top-quality level of performance out of your engine.

EFI Fuel Tank Kit Includes:
- 16 gallon, EFI ready fuel tank
- GPA-Series 190 LPH Walbro fuel pump module
- 73-10 ohm fuel sending unit
- Filler hose
- Roll over vent valve

*Does not include supply or return lines from fuel tank to engine

Please Note: A Roll Over Vent Valve is included with this tank, this is an optional component that is not required if you are using a vented cap.

The main feature of this kit is the brand new 16 gallon, electronic fuel injection ready fuel tank. The fuel tank has an overall size of 32-3/4" x 24-1/2" x 7-1/2" and is made from durable, corrosion resistant galvanized steel. On the inside of the fuel tank there is EFI-style internal baffling which features an extra-large, 4.3 liter fuel tray to aid in preventing fuel starvation during acceleration and cornering. Best of all, this aftermarket fuel tank is a direct, drop-in replacement which uses the factory mounting holes and original style hardware for installation.

The fuel sending unit included with this fuel tank kit is a 73-10 ohm fuel sending unit that will work with your original, factory-style fuel gauge. The sending unit is designed with a rheostat that is made from high quality ceramic board, and the fuel sending unit itself is zinc plated to be more resistant to corrosion. A new rubber filler hose is also provided with the fuel tank kit.

The fuel pump included with this kit is a GPA-Series 190 LPH Walbro fuel pump module that can support up to 450 horsepower, and provides 190 liters per hour of fuel flow. A heavy-duty, yellow-zinc plated 10-gauge mounting plate helps to prevent the fuel pump module from warping and corroding. It contains the correct fittings for the supply, return, vent and electrical connector. The fuel pump module also includes internal wiring harness filter sock and insulator sleeve.

In today's environment, it seems that the fuel your Mustang's tank has become more valuable. Make sure everything is in proper order by checking out the Mustang Fuel Tank Area at CJ Pony Parts. Fuel Tank Kit EFI 16 Gallon With Sending Unit And 190 LPH Fuel Pump 1965-1968 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from all the features you need i replaced 2 in line efi pumps for being noisy finally went to in tank so happy noisless way to go for aftermarket efi change overs

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good quality parts but... The tank fit nicely and arrived quickly but I wasn't expecting the pump and sender to be "universal" type parts that needed a fair amount of work (including sawing on the sending unit and cutting/assembly on the pump) to adjust it to fit (all per instructions). I was expecting more of a plug and play operation. Measurement, math, cutting, fiddling. It's all good stuff, just be prepared to take it that last step.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pump and sending unit can be a pain The only difficult part of this installation can be fitting the pump and sender in correctly. The sender float rod has to be cut to fit and takes some trial and error to turn it so that it can travel all the way up and down. The pump supply and return tubes also have to be measured and cut.
