Rated 4 out of 5 by from Match to 50 year old unit. There was one problem, after installing the new unit and filling the tank with 4 gallons of gas the gauge read over full. Before the reading was always empty with gas in the tank. The old units float was full of gas , empty tank reading. Back to the new unit , drain the tank again , remove the new unit and rig a out of tank way to test the unit. Something seamed tight in the sending unit , exercised it some and the reading started to work as they should. Reinstall in the tank ,fill with gas and for the first time I have a working fuel gauge . I really didn't need the extra experience of removing gas and the unit twice.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good luck Item did not work for me right out of the box. CJ was terrific at making things right. Bought brand name one from another vendor for much more money. It was pictured to be a different item but what I received turned out to be identical in every way to this one except it worked. Bottom line, there aren't a a lot of choices for this. If needed, I would buy again from CJ Pony knowing their commitment to service.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just Get The More Expensive Unit... I recommend spending a little extra for the more expensive brand sending units available. I used this one when I replaced my tank, and had to disassemble to adjust the float arm three times to get a decent reading. Still isn't quite right... My old original sending unit readings were spot on, but that unit was rusty and had a damaged pre-filter so I did not re-use.
