Now available at CJ Pony Parts, this kit includes a brand new 15" steering wheel that has been styled after the wheel equipped in the Cobra sports car that dominated the racing scene in the 60s. You'll also receive the components needed to install the steering wheel, such as the installation hub and your choice of horn button.

When you make this purchase, you'll have the option to choose what type of horn button you desire. Choose whether you want a small or large horn button as well as whether you'd like it plain, with an engraved logo or with a decal logo. Large diameter horn buttons cover the mounting bolts while small diameter horn buttons do not. Each logo has been officially licensed by Ford Motor Company.

Each of the three spokes on the steering wheel has a centered slot design. Much thought was put into the size of the Retro steering wheel to provide more comfort than the competition. Nine rivets in the elegant laminated wood grip mimic the original steering wheel. The Cobra Style wheel has a 1-3/4" dish making it easy to view gauges and control your Mustang. This wheel is constructed from 6061 billet aluminum and polished to a bright finish.

This steering wheel features the original classic shape with finger grips. The wood is then stained by hand with a protective urethane clear coat. Each wheel is evenly cut and shaped to ensure a smooth comfortable grip every time. Wood is book matched on the front and back. Unlike wood steering wheels from other brands, the wood grip doesn't require periodic treatment to prevent discoloring and dry-out.

A 9-bolt installation hub is used to mount the steering wheel. The polished CNC machined 6061 T6 billet aluminum hub is assembled and ready to be installed right out of the box. It includes an adjustable billet collar so you can dial-in the perfect gap from the back of the hub to the column. Set screws hold the collar at the recommended 1/8" clearance. Grade 8 hardware is included as well as installation instructions.

The horn buttons have been machined from 6061 billet aluminum and then polished for a bright finish. A unique o-ring setup secures the horn button and all necessary hardware is included.

Please Note: The included steering wheel adapter will work on steering columns that have a locking function, however it will NOT retain the locking function feature itself.
