Ididit Dash Mounted Touch-N-Go Start System with Multi-Color LED Button.

Automatically start your car with the simple push of a button! This touch sensitive start system features a 22mm aluminum button with multi-color LED lights (with dimming feature) that always lets you know what mode it is in. There are no pesky moving components to wear out or internal relays which will ensure years of outstanding performance. This is a universal kit but is perfect for 1965-1969 Mustangs with dash mounted ignitions.

You will never need your keys again. Keep the programmable key fob in your pocket or wallet and the system will sense your approach and automatically unlock your doors. The system can also be set to turn on your dome lights as you approach for added safety. Plus, the kit comes with a valet switch allowing you to override the key fob system for increased security.

Includes two key fobs with up to four programmable channels and a control box that is small enough to fit just about anywhere. Five ignition positions are simulated: off, accessory, on, crank and run. The key fobs have a proximity range of 2-15 feet. 100% American made just like all Ididit products.

Does this work with a manual 1964.5 Mustang Fastback? or does the mustang have to be automatic?

Asked by: LittleJon
I wouldn't recommend using it in a car equipped with a manual transmission.

73 Mustang?

Asked by: 73fastback_kid
While we don't have a column for the '73 Mustang with or without this push button ignition, it certainly could be incorporated into that car. The button could go in the dash or on the console.

I have a 67 fastback, crank windows, manual locks, etc. Everything common to the 67. Will adding this turn my locks into automatic? Do I have to buy other things for this to do what the description says it will do? I am unclear how this works.

Asked by: Tonydd
It will not automatically make the locks power. You would need to add actuators inside the doors that when the button on the remote is pushed, the actuator pulls or pushes the lock mechanism. There are several companies that make those.

This is obviously a universal kit as stated but since there are no instruction to click on, will the hole for the ignition on the dash have to be enlarged to fit the button? I am asking specifically for a 67 mustang.

Asked by: Jason67
It should be the same size. I suppose different manufacturers had different sized ignition switches. We can do that in a 22mm or 25mm size.

Will this system work with my 2013 mustang gt?? To start the car without using my key in the ignition? To unlock my power door locks? And turn on my dome light?

Asked by: Kyle b
We specialize in older vehicles and we're not that well versed in late model stuff. I would suggest contacting Bowler Transmissions and talk to Mark. They are the people that first developed this product and know much more about late model applications.

Will this work on my 94 mustang?

Asked by: KBC69
Wiring these kits up to newer cars can be difficult. We suggest contacting Bowler Transmission (they manufacture the Touch n Go kits) directly for info on your application. They can be reached at 618-943-4856.

How does this lock and unlock the doors if you do not have a motor or electronic mechanism?

Asked by: RRNRG
It doesn't, you have to have auto door locks / windows.
