iS the resistor connected in front of coil or after to distributor??

Asked by: George
The resistor is before the coil.

Does the positive go to the battery and the negative go to the distributor.   I’m asking because the replacement only has a + sign and negative (-)  inf Dictation.  The original only says to battery on one terminal and other says to distributor.

Asked by: Enick
The positive is to voltage and the negative is to the distributor.
