- Phillips Head Screw Driver
Install Difficulty:
- Moderate Project
1. To install your new Mustang Ken Harrison In Dash Speaker, it requires the dash pad to be removed. This is done by undoing the screws from the top of the pad, underneath the cowl on both driver and passenger sides, at each end of the pad underneath the end caps and finally the two vertical trim screws underneath the top of the radio head plate.

2. The mounting point is a metal frame positioned directly underneath the speaker grille in the Mustang dash pad. Note the keyed holes provided.

3. Use the Mustang radio speaker to dash hardware kit to mount your speaker. First, I loosely mounted the bolts to the speaker unit.

4. Next I slid the Mustang speaker into the frame using the keyed holes to move the bolts into position one side at a time. Tighten the nuts to secure the speaker.

5. Each Ken Harrison speaker has a positive (striped) and negative wire. Determine the correct style of plug required for your radio and attach as appropriate. I needed three bullet connectors for mine: 2 x male for L+ and R+, 1 x female for L- and R- combined.

6. Loosely reinstall the dash pad in the car and connect your Mustang Ken Harrison In Dash Speaker wiring to your radio. Screw the dash pad into position and you’re done.
