1. Open up your new Mustang Raybestos BH-38372 Rear Brake Hose and make sure the part is not damaged. Also let the hose sit flat for 30 minutes at room temperature. Jack up the rear of the vehicle and place jack stands under the chassis of the vehicle (not under the rear axle or control arms)

2. Remove the rear Mustangwheels & tires.

3. Lower the jack and allow the rear end to lower down. You can now see the rear Mustang brake hose which goes from a hard brake line on the bottom of the car just in front of the rear end to two hard brake lines on the rear end.

4. Pinch off the new brake hose with either vise grips or a hose close off tool.

5. Use the ratchet and 13mm socket to remove the bolt holding the rear brake hose to the Mustang intermediate brake line.

6. Place one of the supplied brass washers on either side of the front end of the new rear brake hose and use the supplied bolt and a 11mm socket to attach the new brake hose to the intermediate brake line

7. Use the 9/16 Socket to remove the nut which holds the old rear brake hose bracket to the Mustang rear axle.

8. Use a 11mm Wrench to remove the rear axle lines from the end of the old rear brake hose.

9. Place the bolt on the bracket of the new Mustang brake hose into the hole on the rear end where you removed the old bracket.

10. Use the 9/16 socket and old nut to secure the bracket onto the rear end.

11. Using a 11mm wrench, attach the rear axle lines to the end of the new rear brake hose.

12. Remove the vise grips or hose close off tool.

13. The new Mustang Raybestos Rear Brake Hose is now installed.

14. Use a bleeder to bleed the air out of the brake lines (find the Mustang bleeders on the backside of the rear brake drums). Place the wheels back on and torque the lug nuts to spec. Jack the rear end back up, remove the jack stands, jack the car back down, remove the jack, and you are done.
