Mustang V6 SS Grille Upgrade using Horse Emblem (2005-2009) Installation Instructions
This V6 SS Grille Upgrade uses your existing running horse emblem and will fit 2005-2009 V6 Mustangs.

1. The stock 2005-2009 Mustang grille looks ready for a much needed update with this new Mustang V6 SS Grille.
2. Pop the six plastic rivets for the Mustang radiator opening cover with a screw driver. Save the rivets because you will re-use them when re-fastening the plastic shield when finished.
3. You may not need the screw driver if you can pull the top of the plastic rivet up with your finger nail.
4. After removing the rivets, the plastic shield easily lifts up and out of the way.
5. All you need is the provided grille, washers, nuts and foam backing plate, which includes four nuts, four washers and four foam backed plates for easy installation.
6. Line up the new grille opening over the existing Mustang emblem and align the bolts through the existing grille.
7. This is the back of the existing grille. You can see the bolts from the new Mustang V6 grille poking through.
8. Place the foam backed plate over the bolt and against the old grille.
9. Add your washer and nut then tighten. Begin by only turning the nut a few times to ensure easy threading of all nuts on the bolts before tightening.
10. Tighten each with a 7/16 inch wrench.
11. Replace your plastic shield and make sure the front lip is tucked into the Mustang front bumper cover. The plastic rivets should line up with the existing holes.
12. Make sure the plastic rivet is pulled completely apart before pressing the lower section into the hole. Once the lower section is in the hole, firmly press the rivet in with your thumb.
13. That’s it! Enjoy this great Mustang V6 SS Grille on your 2005-2009 Mustang.
