This Spare Tire License Plate Mount with LED Lights from JKS Manufacturing is a great addition for owners of 1987-1995 YJ Wranglers, 1997-2006 TJ Wranglers, and 2007-2018 JK Wranglers who are looking to move their license plate from the lower corner of the body where it can be damaged on the trail. This mounting kit relocates the license plate to the center of the spare tire, mounted off of the existing spare tire mount studs. Plus, it has two high power LEDs to light up the night sky!

This License Plate Mount works with stock and most aftermarket spare tire mounts with 5 on 4.5 or 5 on 5 lug patterns. It eliminates the factory plastic license plate mount that protrudes out of the back driver’s side of your JK. The mount works great with stubby rear bumpers, corner guards and/or replacement fenders for a clean, high clearance look and function.

JKS crafts the mount by laser cutting and CNC forming 10 gauge steel before giving it a durable gloss black powder coat. The plate mount has an adjustable depth from 4-1/4” to 6-1/4” off the spare mount surface to allow plate clearance for nearly any wheel. The mount is easily disconnected for quick access to the spare tire when you need it. It is secured to the spare wheel studs via push nuts to keep in it when removing or installing the spare

This kit includes a high-quality waterproof polycarbonate license plate light with two high power SMD LEDs to maintain legal lighting on the license plate. It also comes with JK specific instructions for using the 3rd brake light wiring to power the license plate light using supplied high-end electrical splice connectors. It even includes a factory license plate location cover plate and tailgate plugs for 3rd brake light wiring and spare tire bumper holes.
