The JKS Manufacturing JSPEC coils were designed with an understanding of the JL community's needs, which makes them unique. Either on the highways or off-road, you’re going to want the best performance, comfort, and control possible, so that is why the JSPEC dual rate coil springs are specially tuned. The heavy duty dual rate coil springs are specifically made for JLs carrying winch bumpers, racks, and other large gear. These heavy duty springs net about 1/2” more lift than the standard springs. They are meant to provide additional load capacity for your heavily modified JL.
Along with the coil springs, you will receive JSPEC gas charged twin tube shocks for better trail capability. A JKS adjustable track bar constructed from 1-1/2” OD heavy wall DOM tubing is also included, which is known for its strength and advanced design. It was created for maximum clearance to the front axle and uses a threaded end with jam nut and durometer specific bushings at both ends to properly position the front axle while isolating NVHs. There are also a set of lower control arm cam locks positioning the front axle to correct caster.
For those beaten trails, the supplied sway bar quick disconnects can be effortlessly taken off by simply pulling the clips and swinging the links out of the way, increasing articulation. For quiet on-road comfort and quiet performance, the sway bar disconnecting links have an adjustable design with spherical poly-flex ball bushings capable of high-misalignment. Your JL will also receive a frame mounted retention bracket to fasten the sway bar out of the way during trail use. The pair of billet aluminum bump stop extensions will increase articulation and control suspension up travel.
