Rated 5 out of 5 by willisn from A few tips for install (as others have posted) The lights are all much brighter and shed colder light than the incandescent stock bulbs. For the map lights: pull down on the map light housing from the front of the housing (it snaps into place so no worries). The LED bulbs pop into place to be sure to apply enough pressure. For the trunk light, gently use a small flat head to push in from the driver's side under the lamp housing to pull out the housing. For the glove box, you can snap out the support arm (on the passenger side) from the glove box allowing you to pull the glove box down farther. I use a set of needle nose pliers to remove the old bulb. You may have to reverse the LED bulbs if they don't illuminate. I also shorted the system when replacing the trunk light and had insert a new fuse (located on the passenger side of the front passenger foot well).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mojo Mike from Nice, cool white temperature The color temperature is very complementary to the ambient lighting. Installation of the map lights was a breeze. Just tug down from the front (nearest the windshield). For the glove box light, use a small flat blade screwdriver to 'pop' the light out of the base. For the trunk light, use the same screwdriver to pry the light downward on the driver's side.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AyeWall39 from Map/Trunk lights are great The map lights went in no problem and really brighten up the inside of the car. The map lights are on a lot so you get a lot of good use out of them. The trunk light was very difficult to get off, but I finally did, and shorted the fuse in the process. After I got a new fuse, the trunk light worked. More difficult but still worth it. Glove box light was difficult to get out, difficult to get in, and didn't work afterward... I recommend skipping the glove box light altogether because you rarely even use the glove box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Untamd from Great bulbs but a slight blue tint to them. The bulbs work well and they provide a great video on how to install them but the bulbs have a slight blue tint to them and I expected more of a bright white light. If I had to guess these would be in the 6000k temperature range and I was looking for something around the 5000k range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Allerick from Makes the interior feel more modern! WARNING! Watch a video on the trunk install! You can completely detach the trunk light housing before swapping the bulb. If you do not do this then there is a 95% chance you will BLOW A FUSE like I did. That said, these look really nice. I have the white leather seats, and this really makes them pop at night. Makes for a cool first impression when you unlock the car. If anything these may be a little too bright. When it is totally dark out, turning these on will be pretty blinding. If you use your map light a lot while driving then you may not want to get these. I really like this upgrade for the trunk. I found the trunk light a little dim, and this really helps brighten it up. Overall I am very happy with them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Coach7575 from Great Cool White Light The other reviews helped me with the installation. Trunk was hardest to figure out...just insert a small flat blade screwdriver in from the driver side and push back (toward the passenger side) the clear plastic internal tab releasing it from the metal cutout. Disconnect the electrical lead and remove the clear plastic lens housing to replace the bulb. Caution on the dome lights; use a small flat blade screwdriver on the lens toward the rear of the vehicle and pry down, releasing the two smaller tabs on the lens. There is a large tab on the windshield side of the lens that also holds it in the housing, but don't pry down from the windshield side! Use small needle nose pliers to remove the bulbs. No need to release any of the arms on the glove box, just open the glove box and the manual compartment which allows enough room to access the bulb with small needle nose pliers to remove the bulb.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MikeyDGT from Big Bang for the bucks! I changed out the interior (map lights) first. Major improvement! Makes the interior look bright, crisp and high quality. The video was very helpful. I gave up on the trunk and glove box. Need some how to video on these as well. Didn't want to break something.

I am trying to replace the map lights on a '17 ecoboost. Took the lens off (tried taking the whole unit off - no avail). LED bulb will not go in the socket - nothing to put pressure on while trying to insert. HELP please.
You should be able to pull down on the unit to release the retaining clips, it can be difficult to replace the bulbs through the lens.

Does the 2014 Mustang have a glove box light? If so just where is it & how do you change the bulb? Bob Allen Ford says there is no light bulb there. I question that statement.
I don't believe there is a glove box light.

Is there an installation guide available for these products? Thanks in advance.
Just replace the bulb with one from the led kit, if it doesn't work try removing the led and turn it 180 degrees and reinstall.
