We’re here with replacement LED bulbs fitting all 2015 Mustangs.

LED bulbs are going to run much brighter and much cooler than the factory bulbs provided in your 2015 Mustang. This style bulb here will fill multiple locations, including the trunk and glove box, with the most popular location being to replace your map lights.

The glove box and trunk are pretty easy to install. A lot of people have asked how to install the actual map lights. The map light's pretty simple as well. First, I'll show you the stock map light. You can see it's very yellowish light, not very bright at all.

To install it, you simply remove this by pulling down on the ends, and if you pull down here and get your finger underneath, there's a clip on each side. Pull it straight down. It'll pop right off, and once you get it on simply pull straight out, pop that out, remove this bulb and replace it with your LED.

If your map light's been on for a while, the factory bulbs can be kind of on the warm side, so make sure you test it before you put your hand on it so you don't burn yourself. You pop that on. Install the LED. Check it before you put it back in the car. Reinstall and you're finished.

If you put the light in and hit the button and it doesn't turn on, all you've got to do is reverse the polarity. Simply pull it out, spin it 180 degrees, and plug it back in.

To give you a comparison, we left the stock light on this side, and there's our LED: much cooler looking light, much brighter, easier to see and again, they run a lot cooler and will last a lot longer than a stock bulb as well.

Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Bright LED Compared to the Old Halogen Bulbs! I purchased these LED Map Bulbs to replace the old stock bulbs which were giving hardly no light, especially to the back seat. The bulbs are a little big to fit in the housing plate but once I popped off the lens covers, I went in through there and pushed my bulb firmly into the socket. It was the only way to fit. No need to drill out the hole bigger. From there I just replaced the lens covers and snapped the light fixture back into place. The LED lights are way brighter and cleaner then the stock, yellow halogen bulbs. It makes a big difference at night. A little pricey for this bulb but overall was worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy with amazing results Let your DIY skills shine bright! This took me 3 minutes, no joke. Remove the map light unit, disconnect it, pull the bulb sockets out (carefully but firmly) swap the bulbs, if they don't work rotate the new bulbs 90° in the housing, clip it all back together. One of those times where it's easier done than said and not the other way around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and bright. Clear bright interior lighting. As others have mentioned it is a tight fit... But you don't have to force this large light in. To install, just unplug the main plug for easier access. Then, when swapping out the lights- remove the lense cover (push in the inner tab and it pops off easy) this way you can plug in new bulb and not force it in. The only thing I dislike about these is when my dome light is OFF you can see faint light emitting from the LEDs... I'm not sure why and I'm a bit OCD so it irks me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from REVEALS THE BEST!!! After recently buying some well designed and made 2005-2010 ‘GT’ Black Floor Mats, I also decide on buying these amazing LED map Lights, which sure brings out the great look a mustang has. These LED lights took me about a minute to install and they sure did make a better reveal of my mustang GT interior design, and I’m so sure they will do the same for all of you that make the right choice in buying these from CJPonyParts.com. I so should have done this a looooong time ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome LED bulbs I love the new LED map bulbs lighting I just installed in my 2012 Mustang. The color is not too blue, yet just enough whiteness. Installation was a little tricky at first, but once I got the map lights section out, the bulbs were easy to replace: careful with the current bulbs because they may be hot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice upgrade Bulbs are a nice upgrade to the standard bulbs in the map lamps. I found it was easier to install the bulbs by popping out the lense because when I followed the video, I couldn't get the bulbs to go into the slot. They are a larger diameter and length than standard bulbs. I was afraid of breaking them if I continued to push to hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this LED bulbs Brighter and does not flicker like the competition. I had to replace the ones I got from American muscle within a week because one went out and the other kept flickering. Very happy with this product.

Is it normal for these lights to stay dim after vehicle is turned off

Asked by: 281mustanggt
These bulbs allow a slight electrical current to pass because they are missing a diode. Compare CJP bulbs to AM bulbs for the Mustang map lights. You'll see the diode made on the bulbs from AM for an additional $10; but look at the 2 different bulbs yourself. These bulbs are fine if you don't mind that afterglow.

Would these fit the license plate lights?

Asked by: JesseMustang
I would suspect not, since the plugs are going to be different between the two lights.
