With a very few exceptions, almost every car on the road these days has a set of floor mats installed. They've been an optional item on Mustangs since the ?60s, and since the 80s, they have been pretty much a standard feature. Floor mats are great way to protect your expensive carpet, while also giving the opportunity to personalize your interior. Lloyd Mats have been manufacturing high quality carpets in California, using all U.S. source materials for over 35 years. All 1964 through 2004 Ford licensed mats, and all the Shelby licensed mats, are going to come in this heavy black plush carpet and the thick rubber backing. Since ?94, Ford has used factory anchors for the mats, all the Lloyd Mats, have provisions for the factory anchors.

All of your 2005 and newer Ford licensed mats are going to come in this OE grade color and material, again using the factory Ford anchor points. In addition to their floor mats, Lloyd's offers fold-down fastback seat mats for all classic Mustangs, as well as these carpeted trunk mats that are available for all ?64 through current Mustangs, all in this classic loop material.

We installed the classic loop trunk mat in our ?66 Mustang coupe. Installation for all years is exactly the same. The mats are cut to fit, so you simply just lay them in the trunk. You can see how well it fits around our wheelhouse, our rear trunk braces, as well as the filler neck for our gas tank.
