Mishimoto's cold air intake kit is designed to be a direct fit on your 2015-2017 EcoBoost Mustang featuring a variety of high-performance components. You'll receive an intake pipe that is made from mandrel-bent aluminum and is 3.5" in diameter. This pipe will work with the turbo inlet hose that is wire-reinforced and made from silicone. This hose will not collapse under suction & boost so it will prevent your intake pipe from any undesired heat-soak. The hose also has ports that are CNC-machined as well as added reinforcement rings so you'll get a more durable upgrade.

Mishimoto's kit also includes a high-flow, oiled filter that has an increased filtration surface area. This filter can conveniently be cleaned & reused so you'll get production for life. It will make sure your S550 will receive the maximum amount of airflow from the front of the vehicle, operating up to 2,000 CFM. This kit also utilizes an airbox that has a protective edging and is enclosed within your assembly. The black powder-coated airbox will gather all of the cold outside air from the front over your engine while protecting against any engine bay heat-soak.

Installing this kit to your 2015-2017 EcoBoost is safe to use with your stock tune and will fit easily with your factory inlet duct in the front of the bumper. Generating a more aggressive intake tone under acceleration, this cold air intake kit has been dyno-proven to see maximum gains up to 8 whp & 9 wtq. - It is not recommended to use this kit with an aftermarket downpipe or cat-back exhaust, when used on your stock engine tune. It is recommended you get aftermarket engine tuning provisions if you decided to use this with an aftermarket downpipe.
