This downpipe from Mishimoto features a 2-piece design that has been crafted using stainless steel tubing that is mandrel-bent to mount within your S550. The tubing has a 3" diameter and will help maximize the uninterrupted exhaust flow. It will also provide a significantly improvement to your Mustang's overall power and torque performance. With Mishimoto’s MMDP-MUS4-15CAT downpipe paired with a custom tune, your engine has the possibility to gain an additional 65whp and 108wtq over its stock counterpart. As you hit the acceleration, the downpipe will help your EcoBoost get that ideal, aggressive turbo and exhaust tone.

This downpipe is incredibly adaptable to a wide-range of exhaust configurations, thanks in part due to its 3"-2-1/4" adapter. This adapter can also be omitted, so the downpipe will use its 3" V-band outlet to help mate up to other cat-back exhausts and other mid-pipe combinations. This also helps it fit on your Mustang whether you have an automatic or manual transmission.

Mishimoto's MMDP-MUS4-15CAT downpipe also features a catalytic converter that has a 200 cell spun metallic core within its interior. This catalytic converter is what allows the downpipe to be street legal, so you can enjoy the overall exhaust flow performance improvements whether you’re on the track or cruising down the street. This downpipe will also include all of the necessary clamps and flanges and will mate perfectly to your original turbo gasket.

*This downpipe can't be used with stock ECU programming, so you'll need to retune your Mustang's ECU after installing this downpipe.

Is this down-pipe compatible with RHD Ecoboost and Cobb 3" Cat back exhaust? Are there any down-pipes available from CJP suitable for my application?

Asked by: DRU842
Unfortunately I cannot accurately answer your question. Without the vendor supplying any information regarding fitment for non-US Spec cars and CJ's not having a car to test parts on, we cannot confirm this part working on your vehicle at this time.

Can I get an adapter for this to fit my 2.5” magnaflow competition exhaust?

Asked by: Tony9110
Chances are your Magnaflow system still uses the factory 2-1/4" connection point. If so, the adapter that is included with this downpipe will allow you to bolt directly up to that exhaust.
