As you can see, we have our JL up on the lift. This isn't necessary to get it installed, however, it makes it easier for you guys to see what we're doing. There's nothing here to begin with, so we're going to get started by putting our hitch into place. Set your hitch up into place, and I like to put this last bolt in through the rear up towards the front. It's going to let it swing there and just hang by itself. That way I can get the rest of the bolts in. Swing it up into place. Then, put another bolt on the outside here. And then for the center, there's actually two welded on nuts. You're going to put the bolts in the exact same way. Go ahead and put the bolts through this center here. Just get them loosely started. We'll come back and get everything tightened down.
Once you have them all started, put the nuts on the outside of both of them and we'll get them tightened down. In order to put the included nuts on the outer two bolts, then we can come back and get them tightened down with an 18 millimeter socket and 18 millimeter wrench. Now, we're going to go ahead and get them all tightened down. After they're all tight, go ahead and put the hitch cover on by putting this retention strap around the back. This will allow the hitch cover to stay on when you are using the hitch and you won't lose it. Just get it set on there nice. Put it right in the hitch, and you're installation is complete.
