Pair of Mopar Black Performance Rock Rails for 2018-2021 4-Door Jeep JL Wranglers.

Taking your 2018-2021 Wrangler JL on the trails means exposing it to all sorts of damage. Minimize the risk with body armor built to take on the toughest trails, like this Pair of Black Performance Rock Rails from Mopar.

These rails (P/N: 82215165AB) attach to the side of your 2018-2021 Jeep Wrangler JL to protect the sheet metal from impact damage, scraping and debris. If the underside of your sheet metal below your doors hits the ground, your paint can chip, leading to rust and expensive repairs. These rock rails are manufactured using zinc-coated steel that provides superior corrosion resistance. An e-coat is applied to the steel before it's finished with a Durabull coat, which is a truck bedliner coating. The black color looks great with any color JL and adds sleek, modern styling to off-road Wranglers. These rails are sold as a pair of two (2) and easily install on either side of your new JL without any permanent body modifications.

These Mopar performance rock rails are going to fit all 2018 JL's whether you have a sport, Sahara, or Rubicon model. They enhance outwardly to give yourself a step. As well as, protection you pinch seem and complete your Jeep's look.

They're made of a durable steel construction, with a textured black powder coat finish and include all the necessary hardware to get them installed. With that being said we're gonna get them installed on our 2018 JL Wrangler Sport.

We have our JL up on the lift, this isn't necessary to do, however, it will be easier for you guys to see what we're doing. We're gonna start on the passenger side here, let's get started.

Now you can set your rock slider into place, grab an extra set of hands, it's gonna make it nice and easy then they'll go right into the slot on the pinch seem there. You'll here it slide in. You'll actually just let it sit there until you put the hardware in.

We can put the hardware in the back now. You're gonna use the smaller black nuts in these studs. So get them loosely tightened up then we're gonna come back with a ratchet. There's two, one that goes on either side of the post. And then into the body you use one of the silver bolts. And these take a 10 millimeter to get these tight. And a 13 to get this one tight. We'll get them all started, then come back and get them all torqued down.

Once you have all the hardware installed, use a 10 millimeter and a 13 to get it all tightened down. Tighten down the rest of the hardware then repeat the same process on the other side and your installations complete.

We just wrapped up the installation of these Mopar Performance rock rails onto our 2018 JL Sport. These things look really nice, it gives you a step, plus you have a ton of protection for that pinch seem. It really classes up the Jeep and makes it look like a finished product, instead of being able to see that pinch seem behind there.

All you need to get these installed is a 10 millimeter and a 13 millimeter socket, and about 30 minutes of your day. Now you can find these rock sliders as many of other great parts for your JL, right here at CJPonyParts.com.
