If your Jeep came equipped with a factory towage or you've added an after-market one, and you're looking for a place to add a four-way trailer connection, then you're gonna wanna buy this Mopar 4-Way Trailer Connection fitting your 2007 to 2018 Jeep Wrangler.

This factory Mopar Trailer Wiring Harness is a great way to wire up a four-way connection for your trailer without having to do any splicing in your existing harness. It simply plugs right in behind your left-side tail light, and it clips onto the frame rails to give you a factory look and feel, and you don't have to tap into any wires. Now it's gonna fit all 2007 through 2018 Jeep JK Wranglers, so today we're gonna get in and install on our 2008 Jeep Wrangler.

We're at the back of our Jeep and you're gonna start on the driver's side. You're gonna be working with the driver's side tail light. The only tool you need for this installation is a Phillips-head screwdriver. So let's get started now.

You're only gonna need to remove these two inner screws here.

Once you get the tail light out, you're gonna unplug this connection right here. And you're ready to install your new harness right in between this line. Go ahead and grab your new Mopar Wiring Harness and look for this female in here. It has a little red safety tab on here, and you're gonna push this right under the body side terminal of your tail light housing. It'll simply slide right over, and you'll hear the click, and then just slide the red tab right up. This male end here is going to go into your factory tail light housing. That way, you still have power to your tail light. And then you're gonna put everything back tucked away here. We'll show you that in a minute.

Once this connection is made here, I found that it's helpful to pull up the foam backing piece underneath here. That way you can fish the wiring down through along your frame rail to your trailer hitch. It's on the bottom there, and if you just pull it towards you it works pretty easily.

Now this is a bit tricky to see here, but we're gonna tuck the wire in between the frame rail and the body right here. We have a light on the frame and you're gonna tuck it in right through this slot here. There's plenty of room. It's just pretty difficult to see here on camera.

Once you have a fish through, just make sure you have enough room here for your mail connection. That way you can go through your factory tail light. Once you have this around the framer ... We're actually right here in front of the rear sway bar. There's these little pushpins that actually have holes in the frame right there for them. Just really press them in there. Now there's a couple more here. We'll go around the rest of the frame and put them right on.

There's another one right here on the frame rail, right in front of this bracket. Plug that one in. The last thing to install is right here next to your hedge receiver. Once that one's in, you can plug your trailer harness right around the lift of this lower bracket on the receiver. Once your final pushpin is connected, simply slide this into the bracket on the receiver here.

And that'll conclude your installation. You have a perfectly functioning trailer hitch, and you didn't have to cut any wires for it, and it simply plugged and played right in.

That concludes the installation of the Mopar 4-Way Trailer Harness. You can see the installation was super simple. It took about 15 minutes and all you need is a Phillips-head screwdriver to get it done.

Now you can find this Mopar Trailer Harness, as well as many other great parts for your JK, right here at CJPonyParts.com.
