1. To start installing your new Mustang Dynacorn 3649B Metal Trunk Lid, take pictures of old trunk lid and mounting, along with the location of spoiler holes and brackets, so you have them for reference when reinstalling.

2. Measure the location of Mustang rear spoiler assembly holes from front edge of trunk lid as well as from each side. Duplicate these holes on new lid.

3. Remove the old lid from the Mustang trunk area and install new lid using the original hardware to check fit.

4. If the fit is good, remove the new lid and start prep.

5. Scuff the new lid on both sides with 400 grit paper.

6. Apply a Mustang epoxy primer.

7. Use Mustang seam sealer on the inner edges where the outer panel is folded over.

8. Once that is dry, apply another coat of the Mustang primer.

9. Block until the panel is flat on the outside. Scuff the inside with a new Scotch Brite Pad and a little pressure.

10. Refit your new Mustang Dynacorn Metal Trunk Lid to the car, align all edges, and attach it, then you're done!
