Mustang JLT Oil Separator (2005-2010) Installation Instructions
This Oil Separator from JLT will fit 2005-2010 GT Mustangs.
Keep the oil out of your intake with an Oil Separator from JLT for your 2005-2010 Mustang GT. During the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your intake track, large amounts of oil, in the form of vapors, can coat your blower rotors, intercooler fins and even dilute your gas, lowering its octane level. This element collects the last bit of oil droplets and drains back into the tank when the engine is shut down. JLT has also included a factory PCV hose for an easy plug and play installation.

1. To start installing your new Mustang JLT JLTOSD-GT05-B Oil Separator, locate the positive crankcase ventilate (PCV) hose on drivers side of your engine.
2. Press the green “Quick Disconnects” on the PCV hose to release it. Slowly wiggle and pull off.
3. Proceed to release “Quick Disconnects” on intake end of the PCV hose.
4. Clean PCV valve and throttle intake valve with a blue shop towel and remove any oil residue to prepare for the installation of your new Mustang oil separator.
5. Install JLT oil separator's ninety degree elbow on PCV valve then proceed to connect the straight connector to the throttle intake manifold valve. You will hear a click when it’s locks in place.
6. Remove any tools or items from hood and proceed to close.
7. Enjoy your new Mustang JLT Oil Separator and make sure to empty the canister and clean the filter screen at every oil change.
