Power Brake Boosters & Power Brake Conversion Kits

If your Mustang didn’t come equipped with power brakes, then adding them is a great way to improve your driving experience. Power brakes give you more stopping power with less effort required on your end.

While drum brakes offer some natural braking resistance, disc brakes are much harder to operate manually. That’s why so many Mustang owners opt to install power brakes when they upgrade their drum brakes to discs. You can even get full conversion kits that include your disc brakes and a power brake booster.

Located between the brake pedal and the master cylinder, the power brake booster increases the force your pedal exerts on the master cylinder.

Depending on your Mustang’s year, you may need a professional installation. But we also have the installation instructions and videos to help you take on the task yourself if you want.

Once you’ve installed power brakes, you might want to look into a power steering conversion. With a great steering and braking experience, you’ll be sure to enjoy your long weekend drives a little more.
