Spring Isolators

Coil spring isolators prevent your Mustang’s springs from rubbing against other suspension components. If you have a worn-out or cracked isolator, your springs will make a loud squeaking sound. Upgrading your Mustang’s coil spring isolators and bushings will give you a quieter, more comfortable ride.

Coil spring isolators are usually made of rubber or polyurethane. They're essentially rubber rings that sit on the end of the spring, preventing contact with the crossmember. The insulators are inexpensive and easy to install. You can buy them individually or as a set.

Buying new Mustang coil spring isolators from Ford, Prothane, or CJ Classics will reduce both noise and excess vibration. They use higher-quality materials that will last longer than your stock insulator.
