NGK Spark Plug Iridium IX Set EcoBoost 2015-2017 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Instant Difference After installing them my motor runs with a much more balanced idle. Acceleration is incredibly smooth and the power gain is most impressive. For example, when shifting the motor powers in more easily and rev matches without delaying clutch release. Also, the power in 5th and 6th gears is more accessible when throttling up from cruise for passing and such and the motor seems to WANT to rev higher at 2500 rpm and 70 mph. Great product. Gap for 2 of the 4 was barely off but otherwise great.

What do these need to be tapped at for a completely stock ecoboost. Also what do they need to be tapped at if you have the ford performance power pack tune?

Asked by: Ian malone
Use the car manufacturer's recommended gap for stock tune. We highly recommend gapping these plugs to .028" when used in conjunction with aftermarket tunes due to the extra boost that will be added.

Should I use anti-seize compound with NGK iridium spark plugs in my Eco-boost Mustang

Asked by: Kenkroop
Definitely, it only takes one time for you to find out if they needed anti-seize. The heat up and cooling will cause the plugs to be frozen in place after a while. The anti-seize compound doesn't absolutely prevent, but it does help ease removal.

What is the amount of torque needed to install the plugs?

Asked by: Allan516
General consensus is usually 10-14 ft.lbs. of torque. Always use a small amount of anti-seize on the threads and never change plugs when the engine is hot.
