Rated 5 out of 5 by from Parking brake assembly Got it installed it works great. Make sure u pull the handle atleast 5-6 times to adjust

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fixed a problem I have chased for years! Rear brakes have been dragging for a long time. After replacing calipers and pads multiple times thinking the return springs on the caliper e-brake cable were bad, the brake handle was the culprit!

I believe my sensor is also malfunctioning, causing the dummy light to stay on even after emergency brake is released. Does this replacement come with that or do you have that part available. Thanks

Asked by: shepdogcobra97
It does not come with a switch, we do offer this switch, http://www.cjponyparts.com/ford-parking-brake-warning-light-switch-1994-2000/p/HW2315/, with out knowing your year we wouldn't be able to tell you if it will fit your application.

is there any way that I could just buy the metal clip on the top to fix my existing hand brake? (it doesn't have one so it slips)

Asked by: Timmyjack

can this part be used to convert the parkingbrake on a 1967 mustang ---- side of trans-tunnel with modification ?

Asked by: carpenter
No, this is specifically for 1987-1998 Mustangs. You'd have to do lots of modifications to get this to work on a classic Mustang - it's going to be easier to simply get a 1967 kit. Look up CJ part # PBA2
