Rated 5 out of 5 by from No vibration at all. Smooth as butter & Beautifu Install went well. The first time I got it on, I had a little shimmy'ing feeling at low rpm along with a minor vibration. Nothing at high speed which was odd. Even that didn't bother me. I took it off to change my clutch and rotated it when I put it back on. The shimmy and vibration are gone. It is so smooth but you can feel the direct connection to the transmission. The stock ds connects to a rubber adapter. This shaft, and I'm sure others, eliminate that. It was a little pricy, but I feel like it will be safer if it fails and the torsional twist traits of the carbon fiber shaft make it friendlier for a manual trans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations Finally got around to installing this today hands down best driveshaft on the market. I installed in conjunction with new half shafts and a short throw shifter and it feels like a completely different car. Zero noise or vibration car feels faster and much smoother than stock. There was a small issue with hardware which I spoke with qa1 and they sent out my new bolts ASAP and they were a pleasure to work with great customer service. I would reccomend this driveshaft over anything else currently available on the market for an s550.

I've installed this driveshaft and noticed that in 4th gear at around 40 mph i hear a minimal rotational noise that speeds up as I increase the mph. No vibration. Would the noise be eliminated if I were to have the driveshaft indexed 180 degrees?

I don't think rotating it will eliminate the noise. It is most likely rear end noise that you hear now because of eliminating the damper from the center of the stock drive shaft.

What does the transmission side of this shaft look like? From the picture it looks like the flange is the 4 bolt square set up. My 2016 GT has a 3 bolt triangular bolt pattern. Can someone post an actual picture of both ends of the shaft?
