QA1 Tubular K-Member is made from HSLA steel, which is a high strength, low alloy steel. This K-member comes in a sleek black powder-coated, high gloss finish. This K-member is 50 percent lighter than the factory K-member and is made in the USA. QA1 designed the lower control arm brackets to be raised, which corrects roll center when your Mustang is lowered. This K-member also maintains optimum anti-dive geometry with minimized bump steer issues. Ideal for street performance, autocrossing and drag racing applications, this K-member gives you the ability to change the steering geometry with stainless steel steering rack relocation inserts. You can choose to run the steering rack in the stock location, or raise the rack for maximum performance.
The Upper Control Arms will reduce unsprung weight while improving weight distribution in race applications. QA1 Mustang tubular control arms require the use of QA1 coil-over struts. QA1 caster camber plates are recommended. Get a substantial weight savings of 15 lbs.. The Tubular Control Arms are built with poly bushings and engineered for performance.
The QA1 Front Sway Bar is constructed from Lightweight Hollow-Core 4130 Chromoly Steel for maximum strength and durability. The CNC formed Sway Bar will ensure a precision fitment for a true bolt-on installation. The Front Sway Bar includes adjustable end links for fine tuning of the roll stiffness. Also included with this Front Sway Bar is a pair of greaseable graphite polyurethane bushings. Once the Front Sway Bar is fully constructed it is then powder coated in a gloss black finish to help mimic the other QA1 Suspension products.
The QA1 Rear Sway Bar is constructed from heavy duty solid-core 1045 cold formed steel for maximum strength. The Rear Sway Bar is precision CNC formed to ensure proper fitment for a true bolt-on installation. The Rear Sway Bar includes adjustable end links, so the customer can finely tune the Rear Sway Bar. QA1 also includes a pair of greaseable graphite polyurethane bushings. Once the Rear Sway Bar is fully constructed it is then powder coated in a gloss black finish.
The Rear Upper Control Arms are constructed Aircraft Aluminum that includes adjustable rod ends. The Adjusting Rod is 1-1/4” in diameter that is a hex style design that allows the customer to adjust the upper control arm with a Wrench. The Rod Ends are greaseable, this will prevent the Rod End from making noise. With the Upper Control Arms being double adjustable, adjustment can be made on the vehicle. QA1 also includes new rear end bushings that will eliminate rear end flex. Grade 8 mounting hardware is also included.
The Rear Lower Control Arms are constructed from .120” wall cold rolled steel for maximum strength and flex elimination. QA1 installs Polyurethane Bushing on both ends which allows the Rear Lower Control Arms to move smoothly. The Lower Control Arms are fluted, greaseable polyurethane bushings, which are superior to the stock rubber bushings. QA1 welds Rear Sway Bar mounts so the customer can install the aftermarket QA1 Rear Sway Bar. The Lower Control Arms are powder coated in a durable Black finish.
