Radiator 3-Row V8 1965-1966 is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from looks great I specifically bought this oem style radiator because it was brass/copper. I stripped the top tank paint and polished up the medal to give my engine bay an accent piece. I'll repaint it when I no longer like the brass/copper showing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well, Gloss instead of Satin, Broken Petcock Works as it should, comes well packaged. The petcock on mine didn't work, won't open. Not too big a deal though, just disconnect the lower radiator hose instead. It comes painted in a gloss black instead of the original Satin black, the paint is flaking of at the hose connections, but I'll repaint it with Satin and hopefully that holds better

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Well built I bought this product couple weeks ago, it looks ver nice but I was disappointed when I didn't see the radiator cap and cooler lines fittings weren't on it. I have to purchase those items saparetly and it costs me another $36

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like the original I needed a better radiator for my 65 Mustang. I'm glad the 3-Row was available. It fits perfect and can't tell the difference between the new and original.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed a new radiator for my 1964.5 The mechanics said the radiator fit perfectly!...the old one was badly corroded...previous owner replaced the original 15 years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit Perfect fit, no problems, removed the old one and new one fit right in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Radiator replacement I think I ordered this on a Monday and it was delivered on Wednesday. Much less expensive to install a brand new radiator than have the old one repaired. Looks exactly like the original.

Product Questions

Right now my 65 Mustang Coupe has the inline 200/6. I'm thinking of converting to a 289 or 302 V8 in the near future. Would this radiator work with my inline 6 so that I won't have to buy a new radiator when I upgrade the engine?

Asked by: Dezynur
No, the lower hose outlet would be on the wrong side for a six cylinder.

Asked by: Soccer
The radiator you have chosen will work. Here is a link to the hose kit, http://www.cjponyparts.com/65-68-289-scott-drake-radiator-hoses/p/RH34/, You could also replace the fan with one that has more blades if your's is originally equipped with a 4 blade. Is this considered a heavy duty cooling core? We are installing a mild 306 cu.in. iron head engine in a 65 convertible. No ac.

Asked by: Gil Goldstein
This adds extra cooling capacity over the stock 2 row radiator.

Radiator 3-Row V8 1965-1966 Video Transcript
By Bill Tumas: We're here with a replacement 3-Core radiator for your '64 through '66 Mustang. This 3-Row Radiator will fit all '64 through '66 V-8 Mustangs. The third row will give you additional cooling over the standard two-row design. It has an inch and a half inlet, one and three-quarter inch outlet, fittings for your automatic transmission cooling lines, new pecock, and a drain hose. It's going to install just like the factory does using a flange mount. Our 3-Row Radiator is an excellent choice if you're looking for a little extra cooling for your Mustang, but want to keep that original look.
